Fair Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Fair Use Policy explains how usage limits may be applied to keep the platform stable, reliable, and accessible for all users.

It applies to all Services provided by Calliope AI Content Automation LLC, including generation features, AI processing, and related compute resources.

2. How Fair Use Works

Some plans are presented as broad or high-availability usage, but all usage remains subject to Fair Use controls to prevent abuse and protect service quality.

In this context, "Unlimited" means that a feature carries no per-use credit charge (for example, Fast and Captions-Only clips) or no cap on how many items you create (for example, how many voices you can clone). It never means unlimited processing: every feature remains subject to the limits below.

Limits can be applied automatically based on current demand, system health, and abnormal consumption patterns.

3. Service Protection and Abuse Prevention

We may apply temporary throttling, queueing, or feature restrictions when needed to ensure platform stability, security, and fair access for all users.

Repeated abusive or automated misuse may lead to stricter enforcement, including temporary suspension or account review.

4. Current Limits

  • As of February 27, 2026, the Voice Cloning Fair Use limit is 300,000 characters per month, which is approximately 5 hours of generated audio.
  • As of September 29, 2026, Clipping is available on paid plans. Each source video can be up to 10 hours long, and each batch processes a range of up to 2 hours and creates up to 10 clips.
  • Smart, Smart+ and Captions-Only clips are limited per account to 10 hours of processed video and 100 batches per day, 50 hours and 500 batches per week, and about 166 hours and 1,500 batches per month (UTC). Fast clips have no periodic cap, but the source limits above and a limit on simultaneous jobs apply.
  • This threshold may vary depending on total demand from other users, infrastructure load, and operational conditions.
  • We reserve the right to update this limit in the future when required for platform reliability and sustainability.
